Christy Rogers Brossier, 75, of Sorrento, Florida, passed away on July 13, 2026.

Born on February 9, 1951, in Daytona Beach, Florida, Christy was the son of Charles Brossier and Julia Rogers. He graduated from Lyman High School with the Class of 1969 before enlisting in the United States Navy. He proudly served for more than 22 years as an Electronics Technician and retired in 1992 with the rank of Chief Petty Officer.

Christy was preceded in death by his parents and stepparents, aunts and uncles; his brother, Clement Brossier; his sister, Louise Scarborough; and his second wife, Sharon (née Sandin).

He is survived by his brother, Charles "CB" Brossier II; as well as his son, Joseph, and his stepdaughter, Margaret, from his first marriage to Sylvia (née Johnson).

A lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Christy's interests included collecting firearms, science fiction shows, and personal computing. He was also a gold-card carrying Legendary Guest of LongHorn Steakhouse. He will be remembered for his years of dedicated military service and will be missed by those who knew him, including his Uber drivers.
