Michael Timothy Watson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Timothy Watson on Saturday October 11th, 2025 at the age of 74 years old. Many did not know the struggles he had been battling but finally he is at peace. Michael was born on November 8, 1950 in Orlando Florida to Bennie and Ida Watson. He is survived by his children Michael G Watson (Ami Watson) and Joy E Watson, he was a proud grandfather to 6 beloved grandchildren William (BJ), Ashley, Mariah, Jacob, Michael and Kyle and great children William (TJ), Lee, Levi, Hunter, Maverick, and Adalynne. In his final days my brother and I sat at his bedside, Dad’s quiet strength never wavered. He faced the end with the same grace and dignity with which he had lived his life and in the end he still helped two people by donating the gift of site.

As a veteran of the US Marine Corps, Michael served his country with honor and integrity just like his father did before him. Michael's legacy of service, humility and compassion will continue to inspire all that knew him

As a skilled artist, musician and contractor he took immense pride in his crafts, and was a mentor to many. Michael’s legacy is one of truthfulness, resilience and love.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers we are asking donations be made to supportwoundedwarriorproject.org
