Patrick Joseph Farmer, 76, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2026, with his beloved wife, Vicki, by his side.
Pat was born on November 7, 1949, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to Laverne M. "Biddy" Farmer and Eugene "Dick" Farmer. He was one of four children, growing up alongside his siblings Richard, Lynne, and Donald. In 1953, the Farmer family relocated to Orlando, Florida, where Pat would spend most of his life. He attended Evans High School and went on to build a remarkable 50-year career in the Harley-Davidson industry, a profession that reflected his lifelong passion for motorcycles and the friendships that came with them.
Pat and his first wife, Patricia "Lucy" Farmer, welcomed three children: Bart, Joseph, and Jamie. In 1994, he married Vicki Anderson, and together they shared 32 years filled with adventure, laughter, and love. Whether traveling by boat, motorcycle, airplane, or camper, Pat and Vicki embraced life to the fullest and created countless cherished memories together.
Pat was known for his charismatic personality, quick wit, and infectious smile. He never met a stranger and had a unique ability to make people laugh and feel at ease. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Biddy and Dick Farmer; his brother, Richard Farmer; and N.E. "Scoop" Sloan.
Pat is survived by his devoted wife, Vicki Farmer; his children, Bart Farmer, Joseph Farmer (Windy), and Jamie Blitch (Gary); his stepchildren, Jeff Thieme, Shawn Hoffman, and Carla Hoffman; his brother, Donald Farmer (Rosemary); his sister, Lynne Farmer Lehman; 12 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will deeply miss his laughter, stories, and larger-than-life presence.
Pat's legacy lives on through the family he loved, the friendships he cultivated, and the countless lives he touched along the way. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his sense of humor, and the joy he brought to those around him.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the Elks Lodge located at 2540 Dora Ave, Tavares, FL.
