Peggy Jean Hartsook

Peggy Hartsook (née Gentry), age 85, of Daytona Beach, Florida

Peggy Hartsook, born in Piney Flats, Tennessee, passed away peacefully. She was a proud graduate of Bluff City High School, Class of 1958.

Peggy was preceded in death by her son Richard; her sisters Minnie, Evelyn, Bertie, Carol, and Mary; and her brothers Robert and Bobby.

She is survived by her sister Hazel of Tacoma, Washington; daughters Sandra of DeLand, Florida, and Lori (Bo) of Mountain City, Tennessee; sons David of Mountain City, Tennessee, and Daniel (Ronda) of Salisbury, Maryland; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Peggy loved lighthouses and was an avid collector. She also enjoyed doing word puzzles on her iPad. Peggy moved to Florida in 2023 but lived the majority of her life in southeastern Pennsylvania or southeastern Tennessee.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on July 19, 2025, at the Ruritan Club in Bluff City, Tennessee. Interment will be private.
