Roger Alan Purcell

Roger Alan Purcell, age 75, passed away January 14, 2023, at home in DeLand, Florida. He was born and raised on Lake Conway, in Orlando, Florida, on March 22, 1947, to Roy and Addie Purcell. He built and loved fast boats “Witch Craft Maine”, fast RC Planes “Scream Machines” and loved motorcycles. He also enjoyed working on train layouts. He was, also, involved in the construction of Disney World and later Epcot. Afterwards, he went to work for Martin Marietta in research and development.
He is survived by his, wife, Kathy, stepson, Kraig Sellers, brother, Glenn Purcell and his, wife Pat, as well, as nieces Michelle and Chantel Purcell.
The family will be receiving friends and family on February 18, 2023, between 2 and four, at his home at 1950 Sunset Court, DeLand, FL. 32720.
