Our Process

Just4Cremation

A Passing Has Occurred or is Expected:

  1. Transfer of Your Loved One Into Our Care: First, you will need to advise the appropriate person (nurse, law enforcement, etc.) that you have chosen Just4Cremation. They will call us whenever your loved one is prepared for our team to receive them and we will be on our way to bring them into our care.
  2. Gather Information: Once we have your loved on in our care, we will need to gather the information necessary to file the Florida Death Certificate. We can gather this info online or in-person.
  3. Authorization Forms: You will need to sign a couple of forms that simply give us permission to do what we have to do in order to care for your loved one. These forms can be signed online or in-person.
  4. Processing of the Death Certificate: We will facilitate the signing of the Death Certificate. Doctors in the state of Florida are allowed 72 hours to sign the Death Certificate.
  5. Cremation Approval: Once the Death Certificate has been signed it will then be sent to the local Medical Examiner for cremation approval. There is a fee for this service, and we pay it on your behalf. Most counties are between $50-$70 for cremation approval.
  6. Finalize Cremation and Death Certificate: Once the cremation has been approved, we will schedule the cremation to take place within 48 hours of approval.
  7. Complete: After the cremation is complete and we have the Death Certificates we will call you. At that time, we can either schedule time for you to come to our office and pick everything up or we can mail them to you via USPS Priority Mail Express (mailing fees apply).
